Gemini Studios came into being through his vision to make a state of the art studio and one stop shop for all needs of the filmmaker, and Digital Academy is an extension of that dream. His contacts both in the Hindi film industry as also abroad will be an integral part in providing knowledge and technological support to Digital Academy. An ardent lover of films, he prides himself on an almost photographic memory of Indian films made. His interest in Indian classical music has seen him organizing concerts of artistes like Bharat Ratna Bismillah Khan, Pt. Bhimsen Joshi, Gana Saraswati Kishori Amonkar, Ustad Zakir Hussain and Jagjit Singh.

Kartikeya is an alumnus of New York University, having studied Business and Filmmaking. He has further complemented his base by specialized studies in Film Editing, Special Effects and Animation. And his exposure to the world’s best film schools has helped further in the setting up of Digital Academy. An ardent reader, Kartikeya is specially into life accounts. And his avid love for music has seen him learn the Pakhawaj, a unique drum that produces pure resonance.

He is a Chartered Accountant by profession and over a two decade career, has proven his capabilities in Management, Planning, Project Implementation, MIS, Budgetary Controls, Legal Matters, Finance and Banking. An avid social worker, he is presently the District Treasurer of Lions International, a good public speaker, and is into reading and organising seminars pertaining to leadership skills.
